Is my Chuug dishwasher safe?

Yes — the stainless steel core is dishwasher safe.

Simply unscrew the steel core in a counter-clockwise direction to remove it and place it in the dishwasher as normal. Please ensure the core is completely dry before placing it back into the wooden outer.

We recommend handwashing the exterior wood and rope handle with a damp cloth and drying after.

Please do not submerge or leave the Chuug resting in water for prolonged periods, this can cause damage to the outer section of the Chuug.

V1 & V2 Chuugs (previous versions)

These versions are not dishwasher safe as they do not have a removeable steel core.

Please wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry with a hand towel.
